Much lighter this morning, but not the sunrise we have been used to…. clouds, 45 with WNW swell 3.6ft@ 5.8-7 sec’s and light ENE winds. Water temp at 51.3, high tide was at 5:25am, sunrise at 6:58am and low tide at 10:45am. This afternoon, W 3-4ft@ 8 sec’s with N winds 5-10mph, high of 55 and partly cloudy with high tide at 4:19pm. Tonight W 4ft@8 sec’s with with light NNE winds, low of 41, partly cloudy and sunset at 4:59pm, low tide at 11:36pm. Going to have to get used to the time change……. lots of people on the beach this morning, and dogs… poor Amy had to stay on her leash…… little excitement as we walked back to the house, had a loud explosion about a block south of the old surf shop, lots of smoke… lights flickered….. so we took a short walk up to see what it was…… a Seagull had flown into one of the hot wires, and got fried…. the smell of burnt bird…… Damn impressive the explosion that bird caused…… Miss Amy was not impressed……
