Sunday, 4th of July

Sunday, July 4, 2021

Happy Independence Day! I for one and damn proud to live in the USA, and respect all those that fought for the freedom! Now…. If you are in Cannon Beach, and want to celebrate, from 8a to 11am you can go out to Haystack Rock and join the puffin watch….. yep… pretty exciting stuff…. that is the extent of July 4th festivities in CB…. No Fireworks of any kind…. none, nada! Even sparklers or those plastic paper confetti shooters…… $5000 fine!! The City Council and Mayor would prefer you go elsewhere to enjoy the 4th. Oh…. and we will not have the annual 4th of July Parade……
